Song notes:
This was the opening song for Skibbereen shows, introducing the band members to the audience as well as the type of music they were in for. My thoughts were that it was a sort of warm up for the band. The tune you hear on the recording was also written specific for the song.

So where do I go at the end of the day
To lighten demeanor and for a while stay

And it’s down to the pub at the end of the day
To drown all your sorrows and brighten your stay
The Blarney is flowing, the craic it is grand
For Skibbereen ‘s playing, a great Celtic band

and Barry’s flutes and whistles are fine
Margaret plays fiddle, banjo, mandolin too
Jim sings the songs, and Mark plays the fool
